Kohli has benefited significantly from endorsements since his debut in 2008under 19-world cup. In 2008, he was signed with the Cornerstone Sports and Entertainment’s Bunty Sajdeh, who was a sports agent. Since then, Sajdeh has managed Kohli’s endorsement deals as well as those of other cricket players in the country. By 2013, his endorsements were deemed to have an estimated value of more than 100 crore. According to American Appraisal, Kohli’s brand value was estimated to have a value of $56.4 million, which positioned him as the fourth highly valued celebrity and sportsman brand in 2014. Throughout the history of cricket in India, his endorsement deal with MRF was the most expensive. During the same year, SportsPro, a magazine in United Kingdom rated him as the second marketable sportsman after Lewis Hamilton. In addition, Kohli has won several milestones such as the fastest Indian to ever reach a 1,000 runs in the ODIs.
